Straight answers — the same way we quote.

General

What areas do you serve?

Philadelphia (including Northeast Philly), Bucks County, Montgomery County and South Jersey including Cherry Hill, Voorhees, Haddonfield, Moorestown and Marlton.

Why don't you list prices online?

Every home is different — room sizes, stairs, soil level and fabric types change the job. We give you an exact quote by phone or on-site before any work starts, and that's the price you pay. No bait and switch, no surprise upsells.

Are you available on weekends?

Yes. We're open 7 days a week, 8am–8pm — including Saturdays and Sundays. For water damage, call any day and we'll respond as fast as we can.

Are your technicians certified?

Yes, our technicians are IICRC certified.

Do you work with insurance for water damage?

Yes. We bill insurance directly and provide the photos, moisture logs and documentation adjusters need.

Is your cleaning safe for kids and pets?

Yes. We use eco-friendly cleaning solutions, and deodorizer and sanitizer are included with carpet cleaning at no extra cost.

Do you clean for landlords and property managers?

Yes — move-in/move-out deep cleaning for rental properties is a big part of our business, and we're known for helping at the last minute.

How long have you been in business?

PROfection has been cleaning homes in the Greater Philadelphia area since 2008.

Carpet Cleaning

How long does carpet take to dry?

Most carpets are dry in 4–8 hours depending on humidity, airflow and carpet thickness. Running AC or fans speeds it up.

Do I need to move furniture?

No — we move light furniture (chairs, end tables, small dressers). Please pick up small items and breakables from the floor before we arrive.

Is the cleaning safe for kids and pets?

Yes. We use eco-friendly cleaning solutions, and the deodorizer and sanitizer are included at no extra cost.

Do you give the price before you start?

Yes. You'll get a clear quote before any work begins — the price we say is the price you pay. No bait and switch.

Upholstery Cleaning

How long does upholstery take to dry?

Usually 2–6 hours. Low-moisture methods and good airflow keep dry times short.

Can you clean a microfiber couch?

Yes. Most microfiber is solvent-coded (S) or W/S — we test first and use the right method so it doesn't water-spot.

Do you clean mattresses?

Yes — mattress cleaning removes stains, odors, sweat and dust-mite allergens. Queen and king sizes.

Can you clean carpet and furniture in the same visit?

Absolutely, and most customers do. Ask for a combined quote.

Water Damage Restoration

Do you bill my homeowners insurance directly?

Yes. We document the loss and bill your insurance company directly. Your policy determines what is covered.

Are your technicians certified?

Yes — our technicians are IICRC certified and follow IICRC S500 water damage restoration standards.

How long does drying take?

Most structures dry in about 3–5 days. We monitor moisture daily and remove equipment only when materials reach dry standard.

Can my wet carpet be saved?

Often, yes — if it's clean (Category 1) water and drying starts quickly. Padding usually needs replacement. Sewage-contaminated carpet must be removed for safety.

Emergency Water Extraction

Do you answer on weekends?

Yes — we're available 7 days a week. Call (215) 760-8229 and we'll get to you as fast as we can, often the same day.

Can you pump out a flooded basement?

Yes. We extract standing water from basements and set up drying equipment afterwards.

Will insurance pay for water extraction?

Sudden and accidental water damage is often covered by homeowners policies. We bill insurance directly; your insurer decides coverage.

Should I use a shop vac first?

If it's safe, removing some water helps — but a shop vac can't pull water out of carpet pad or walls. Professional extraction and drying are still needed.

Air Duct Cleaning

How often should air ducts be cleaned?

Only when needed — typically every 3–5 years, or sooner after renovations, pest problems, visible mold or heavy dust and pet hair.

Will duct cleaning lower my energy bill?

Clean ducts and filters help your system move air freely, but we won't promise specific savings. Changing filters regularly matters most.

How long does it take?

Most homes take 2–4 hours depending on the number of vents and system layout.

Can you clean dryer vents at the same visit?

Yes — many customers bundle air duct and dryer vent cleaning.

Dryer Vent Cleaning

How often should a dryer vent be cleaned?

At least once a year for most households, more often for big families or long vent runs.

How long does dryer vent cleaning take?

Usually 45–90 minutes.

Do you clean roof-exit dryer vents?

In many cases, yes. We'll assess access when you call.

Is the lint trap enough?

No — the lint trap catches most lint, but some always passes into the vent and builds up over time.
